Baraa Ahmad Al-Qerem was a 16-year-old Palestinian boy from the quiet village of Jalkamous, nestled in the hilly terrain south of Jenin in the northern West Bank. Like many teenagers in his community, Baraa grew up in a region shadowed by occupation, military raids, and checkpoints.
