Bahman Fattahi (Milasi)

Biography
Bahman Fattahi, also known as Milasi, was a Lor resident of Lordegan in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province. He was a family man, married and the father of two children. Like many others in his city, he took part in protests calling for justice and change. On the evening of January 7, 2026, he was shot dead by Iranian government forces during demonstrations, becoming one of several Lor civilians killed that night.
Bahman Fattahi (Milasi) was a member of Iran’s Lor community and lived in the city of Lordegan. He was married and had two children, making him a primary provider for his family. Friends and local residents described him as an ordinary citizen whose life revolved around work, family, and community.
During the nationwide protests that intensified in early January 2026, Bahman joined demonstrations in Lordegan, where residents gathered to express opposition to state repression and economic hardship. On January 7, 2026, security forces opened direct fire on protesters. Bahman was among those shot and killed. His death added to a growing list of civilians killed by live ammunition in the city, highlighting the severe and lethal force used by the authorities.
