About 10 p.m., a Merrick County sheriff's deputy began pursuing a Dodge Durango after it failed to stop for a traffic violation in Central City. The Durango crashed and rolled west of Osceola, ejecting Autumn Standley and Luis Elias, 26. Standley was killed, and Elias was seriously injured, police said.
