Deadly force

Great Mills High School was placed on lockdown after 17-year-old Austin Wyatt Rollins, a student at the school, walked into the hallway and shot a 16-year-old female student around 8 a.m., police said. A 14-year-old male student was also injured. The school resource officer fired at least a round. It was unclear if Rollins took his own life or was killed by the the school resource officer. It was also unclear if the 14-year-old student was injured by Rollins or whether the deputy's shot injured him.
