A member of the Oakland County Narcotics Enforcement Team fatally shot Austin Ryan Thomas during an undercover drug operation. Thomas allegedly tried to rob an undercover officer and put a weapon to his head. The officer pulled his weapon and shot Thomas, he was pronounced dead a short time later at the hospital.
