Officer Jonathan Meachum tried to conduct a traffic stop on Moon, who was riding a 2011 Suzuki GSX. Moon tried to pass Officer Meachum. Instead, Moon struck the left rear of Officer Meachum's 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe, and died in the resulting crash.
