Around 1 p.m. officers with the Dalhart Police Department made contact with Augustus Combs for an outstanding warrant. Combs fled and police chased him to a storage facility. As officers approached, Combs reportedly raised his shirt and pulled out a handgun, and officers shot and killed him.
