Robinson on an unregistered motorbike and an MDC officer in an unmarked Ford Taurus collided in a narrow street. The accident severed Robinson's aorta and he bled to death. The officer and later official reviews described this as an accident. Witnesses, initially including the officer's passenger, saw a deliberate act.
