Less-than-lethal force

Brown broke into his wife's residence. She ran away. Brown ran his wife down and attacked her. An unnamed man attacked Brown and choked him until he stopped resisting. Officers responded. EMS took Brown to University Medical Center, where he died of cardiac arrest. He may have taken amphetamines earlier that day. It is not recorded whether the unnamed man, who had no known affiliation with law enforcement, ever stood before a grand jury.
