Pursuit
A man and woman carjacked a driver at gunpoint. Police located the stolen car -- with the man behind the wheel and the woman in the front passenger seat -- and pursued. Around 11:50 p.m., about three miles from the scene of the carjacking, the pair slammed into a car that was making a left turn. The impact sent the vehicles careening into several parked cars, killing the woman. The man was taken to a hospital, as were two men who were in the car that was struck.
