Around 1 p.m., police received several calls regarding a woman walking in the middle of Alta Sierra Drive with two small children. The reporting parties advised that the woman was possibly under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Several deputies responded and made contact with the woman, and Within minutes, Deputies Deputy Caleb Toderean and Matthew Harrison shot and killed her. She was reportedly afraid the deputies were there to take her children, and she allegedly had a knife.
