Deadly force
Archer Amorosi was having a mental health episode when his mother called police to place him in treatment. When officers encountered Amorosi, he was screaming threats at them and brandishing a handgun style BB gun. Amorosi was tasered and pepper sprayed to no effect. Amorosi begged the officers to shoot him and charged them waving a hatchet and the BB gun. The officers shot and killed him. The shooting was ruled justified.
