Palm Beach Gardens police say a motel staff member called 911 after the suspect told the front desk clerk he had a gun and asked her to call the police. When officers arrived at the scene Landi raised his gun and pointed it at the officers. Three police officers shot and killed him. The gun turned out to be a BB/pellet gun.
