Police attempted to initiate a traffic stop after the motorcycle's driver allegedly drove through a red light at Highway 61 and County Road 47. The officer activated his emergency lights and siren in the 1400 block of Spring Street after seeing the motorcycle go through a stop sign. The motorcycle continued fleeing, going through other stop signs in a residential neighborhood, until the driver lost control and struck an unoccupied car in the 300 block of 13th Street.
