Anthony Brown reportedly was taken into custody by police from the scene of a burglary. Police said he became belligerent, damaging a police cruiser. Once at central booking, the man began to get physical. Police were taking him up to the fourth-floor cellblock when he collapsed and died at about 4:45 p.m. Media reports don't state categorically whether he was booked, so this incident may be outside of FatalEncounters dataset, which does not include individuals after they've been booked into the jail or prison system.
