Officers surrounded an apartment complex after receiving a report that two wanted parolees were there and at least one was armed. After several hours the men fled and one was cornered. Angel Lopez was shot and killed by Officer Kristopher Walb after refusing to show his hands and reaching into his pockets. Lopez was shot in the back and in the back of his head. The other suspect was arrested after an hours-long search.
