Police were called to a wrecked other. Witnesses said a man and a woman walked away from the crash, and officers found two people nearby who matched their description. When officers approached, the man fled on foot. One officer followed; the other stayed with the woman. Angel Dean Burk was shot and killed. He was allegedly armed with a handgun, although news reports failed to note whether it was wielded.
