Cobb County Emergency Communications Center dispatched uniform officers in reference to a domestic dispute. Information was provided to the officers that the subject, Andrew Lambeth, was armed with a handgun and possibly suicidal. An officer encountered Lambeth in front of the residence armed with a firearm. Lambeth shot his gun, and the officer shot and killed him.
