How they died

Shot with three bullets (two in abdomen, one in hand) in Nazi-Abad area of Tehran. Cabinet maker originally from Lorestan province. Orphaned and supporting his family. Asked doctor while conscious: 'Doctor, can I work with this hand?' Died after delayed transfer between medical centers, finally at Pakdasht Hospital. Left behind wife and 4-year-old daughter. Body returned to family with delay, funeral held under restricted conditions.
