Porter Jr. was a passenger in a car that collided with a van during a high-speed chase with a sheriff's deputy. The driver of the car, 22-year-old Ulises Damien Rangel, was arrested and is facing charges of operating a motor other while his license was suspended, revoked or denied causing death and carrying a concealed weapon, according to the Berrien County Sheriff's Department.
