How they died

Shot directly in the neck by Islamic Republic sniper from a rooftop during protests. After shooting him, government forces dragged his half-alive body on the asphalt street while shouting 'Heydar, Heydar'. He was a 40-year-old resident of Golpayegan who worked for years as a heavy vehicle battery mechanic in the city and was father to a 10-year-old son.
