Alexander Wheeler

Deadly force

About 4 a.m., Alexander Wheeler allegedly shot his father and battered his mother when she attempted to intervene. Wheeler then fled the home. Police were advised that Wheeler may be under the influence of drugs and was possibly in possession of a weapon. About 5 a.m., a deputy spotted his Honda Civic. Police pursued Wheeler back to the area of his parents' home. Wheeler's other was then seen heading down Wind Crest Lane where he attempted to drive through a backyard. Wheeler got out of his car and fled. A deputy reportedly hit Wheeler with a Taser, but it did not stop him. A deputy shot and killed him.
