Deadly force

Gonzalez was one of three young men in a Nissan Altima under surveillance as possible gang members. After a traffic stop Gonzalez quickly switched places with his wife, who had been driving, then drove the car toward officers. He was fatally shot. After the incident the other two men confessed to prior crimes including a home invasion, armed robbery, and a killing.
