Ala’ Nasser Zayyoud was a 21-year-old Palestinian from Sielet al-Harithiya, northwest of Jenin in the northern West Bank. He was a member of the Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad movement. On September 30, 2021, Ala’ was killed by Israeli soldiers during a large-scale military operation in Burqin town, near Jenin.
