Officer Eric Copeland pulled over Bradley's other for playing music too loudly when he believed he smelled marijuana and prepared to search the other. Bradley fled in his car and then on foot, where a series of struggles ensued and police say Bradley attempted to strangle the officer with his radio cord. Officer Copeland shot Bradley three times in the chest, killing him.
