Ahmad Ayman Ibrahim ‘Aabed, 23, was a young Palestinian man from Kafr Dan, a town northwest of Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank. On September 14, 2022, he was killed alongside Abdul-Rahman Hani ‘Aabed during an exchange of gunfire with Israeli soldiers near the village of Jalama, close to the Israeli Annexation Wall. Ahmad was a graduate of Istiqlal University and served in the Palestinian Military Intelligence service.

Born and raised in the village of Kafr Dan, near Jenin, Ahmad Ayman Ibrahim ‘Aabed grew up amidst the intensifying pressures of military occupation and frequent Israeli raids in the northern West Bank. At 23, he had already achieved academic success, graduating from Istiqlal University, a Palestinian institution that specializes in security and military sciences.
