About 3 p.m., a deputy reportedly saw Adam McCoy driving a other on White Chapel Road. The deputy attempted to stop the other, but the driver fled. The deputy pursued the other until it crashed. As the deputy pulled up to the crash, he allegedly was fired upon. The deputy shot and killed McCoy.
