Trooper D.D. Wohler was observing eastbound I-470 traffic when the driver of the 2002 Mustang, Adam G Hodgeman, raced by the trooper at 98 m.p.h. Two minutes into the pursuit, Hodgeman came upon other traffic and lost control of his car off the east side of the roadway and rolled-over. He was killed.
