Abubakar Abdallah was a 41-year-old internally displaced person (IDP) residing in the Zamzam camp near El Fasher, North Darfur. On April 16, 2025, he was tragically killed in an ambush by armed assailants near Foul Abyad, approximately seven kilometers west of El Fasher. The attack occurred when Abdallah and fellow camp residents were attempting to retrieve the bodies of earlier victims who had been killed while searching for stolen livestock.
