​Abdallah Alwan was a Palestinian media worker and voice-over specialist known for his contributions to various media outlets, including Al Jazeera's Arabic platform Midan, Mugtama magazine, and Al Jazeera itself. He also served as a radio host for the Islamic University's Holy Quran Radio.
Tragically, on December 18, 2023, Alwan was killed in an Israeli airstrike that targeted his home in the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza. His death was part of a broader pattern of attacks on journalists in the region, with at least 97 Palestinian journalists reported killed by Israeli strikes since October 7, 2023. ​
