How they died

Shot in the leg with a war bullet, then arrested by forces who transferred him to a corner of a park adjacent to the street among trees where he was beaten with multiple baton strikes and ultimately died from the severity of his injuries. Known as 'Son of the Sea' among locals, he was a football coach who worked for years to develop football in the region.
