Around 1:59 p.m., police were attempting to arrest a fugitive from Allendale County for two counts of attempted murder, Aaron Brooker. During the arrest attempt, shots were exchanged between Booker and police. After attempts to communicated failed, around 3:55 p.m.. police entered the building and found Booker dead. An autopsy determined Booker died from self-inflicted gunshot.
