Daly City police spotted Aaron Sawyer behind the wheel of a stolen other and chased him into San Francisco. Sawyer eventually abandoned the car and fled on foot. After Sawyer allegedly raised a pistol at officers, a Daly City officer shot him in the torso, killing him.
