During the night of May 13, 2021, Israeli warplanes carried out continuous bombardments across the Gaza Strip. Civilian homes and neighborhoods were struck without warning, leading to mass casualties. Among the victims was 10-month-old Mohammed Abu Dayah, who died as a result of the airstrikes. Mohammed Salamah Mohammad Abu Dayah was a 10-month-old infant from the Gaza Strip. His short life was cut tragically short on May 13, 2021, when Israeli airstrikes devastated homes and neighborhoods across Gaza. He was one of 36 Palestinians killed that day in a night of relentless bombardment. Born into a region besieged by conflict, Mohammed never had the chance to experience a childhood free of violence, his life ending before it had truly begun.
Mohammed Abu Dayah was only 10 months old when he was killed during the Israeli assault on Gaza in May 2021. His family lived in the Gaza Strip, where they faced the hardships of blockade and repeated cycles of conflict. Like many children in Gaza, Mohammed represented innocence and hope for the future, but his life was abruptly taken before his first birthday.
On May 13, 2021, Israel launched a series of heavy airstrikes across Gaza that lasted throughout the night. The bombardment targeted residential neighborhoods, apartment towers, and infrastructure, leaving widespread destruction. Amid these attacks, Mohammed was killed, becoming one of the youngest victims of that day’s strikes.
