Khaled ‘Emad Khaled al-Qanou’, 17, was a Palestinian youth from Beit Lahia in northern Gaza. He was one of 36 Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrikes on May 13, 2021, during an all-night bombardment that targeted homes, apartment towers, and infrastructure across the Gaza Strip. Khaled was killed in the Israeli missile attack on the Abraj an-Nada residential tower in Beit Lahia, which also injured eight others. His death occurred amidst one of the deadliest nights of the 11-day Israeli assault on Gaza, which left hundreds injured and destroyed thousands of housing units.
