He was among the victims of an airstrike that struck a café at the Gaza seaside, an attack that also killed three other young men. His death came amid a series of heavy bombardments across the city, which targeted residential, commercial, and public facilities, leaving widespread destruction and high civilian casualties.

Ahmad Khalil Hejazi al-Louh, born and raised in Gaza City, was 24 years old at the time of his death. On May 17, 2021, Israeli warplanes carried out a series of intense airstrikes on various parts of Gaza City, striking both residential and commercial areas. One of the attacks targeted a popular seaside location near the Maldives Café, where Ahmad was present. The strike killed him instantly along with three others — Mohammed Jamal ‘Ali Abu Sam’an, 24, Mohammed Hasan Abu Sam’an, 32, and ‘Ali Waleed al-‘Abed Burais, 30.
