Jamil Abu Ayyash was a 31-year-old Palestinian from Beita town, southeast of Nablus in the northern West Bank. He was killed on December 10, 2021, during weekly protests against Israeli settlement expansion on Sbeih Mountain. Jamil was shot in the head by Israeli soldiers firing live ammunition at unarmed protesters. Jamil Abu Ayyash hailed from Beita, a town southeast of the city of Nablus in the northern West Bank. On December 10, 2021, during one of these weekly protests, Israeli soldiers opened live fire on non-violent demonstrators.
