Rodney A. Steinbrook was struck and killed by a car after he reportedly ran from his other as police chased him. At around 12:30 a.m., an officer began pursuing Steinbrook on St. Charles Rock Road because he believed Steinbrook was driving a stolen car. Steinbrook abandoned the car and fled on foot, with the officer in pursuit. Police said Steinbrook ran onto I-170, where he was hit by a Ford Focus. He died at a hospital.
