Deadly force
During a robbery at Advance Auto Parts, one of three robbers, Andrew Stokes, pointed a gun at an off-duty police officer, who shot and killed him. Officer James Anderson, 26, wore his police uniform while working as the store's security guard. He was able to wear the uniform as part of the Memphis Police Department's "secondary employment" program.
