At Rest

Vehic/Purs
An officer responding to a domestic disturbance call ran a red light and hit a van, killing passenger Scott Hamm. The officer was reportedly going 57 mph in a 30 mph zone. According to police, the squad car's emergency lights and siren were on at the time. In 2003, the ZPD agreed to pay $500,000 to Hamm's family.
This record exists so that Scott Hamm, and all who are named in this archive, are never reduced to a number.
