State police tried to serve a felony warrant on Gerald Parry Irwin, who fled. Beginning in the Beach Lake area on SR 652, the pursuit continued on various roads into New York State at which time the New York State Police took over the pursuit. Irwin lost control of his other on New York State Route 42 and wrecked, killing Irwin, police said.
