Cpl. Steven Spadafora shot and killed Ricki Wiltfong on the staircase inside Wiltfong's home. Wiltfong was armed with a 9mm handgun. Wiltfong's wife had called police because he was drunk and on painkillers and threatening her and the children in the home.
