Deadly force
Officers were called on a domestic disturbance on April 8, 2002. After a fight with officers, when medical personnel were binding Arce's ankles, they realized he was not responsive. After several days on a ventilator, he died on April 12, 2002. He was on drugs including cocaine and benzoylecgonine.
This record exists so that Roberto Arce, and all who are named in this archive, are never reduced to a number.
