Just as police were about to call off the pursuit because of the slick conditions, a pursued suspect going 80 MPH on city streets rammed into a car with mother Tameka Anthony and son Charles Griffin Jr., killing them, also leaving Anthony's fiance, Luther Page, permanently disabled.
