Jamie Barnes was killed during a high-speed police chase on County Line Road when he missed a curve and hit a steel fence. Police said the chase began when Barnes failed to stop his 2001 Honda motorcycle at Coolspring Road and Franklin Street for Michigan City police for speeding and failure to yield.
