At Rest

Vehic/Purs
Justin Jacob reportedly led police on a high speed chase. After Jacob's car passed the roadblock, deputy Dennis R. McElderry went to retrieve the stop spikes and was struck by another deputy's patrol car. Jacob was charged with vehicular homicide. In October 2009, Jacob was shot by a state trooper following a pursuit from Centerville to Seymour. Jacob survived.
This record exists so that Dennis Ray McElderry, and all who are named in this archive, are never reduced to a number.
