At Rest

Vehic/Purs
At about 4:30 p.m., a police cruiser on a radio run hit another car, killing husband and wife Albert Sloan and Lilian Mae Sloan. Witnesses said the patrol car was speeding eastbound on Lafayette when it ran a red light without its emergency lights flashing, colliding with the Sloans' Honda Civic, which was southbound on St. Aubin. One witness said it didn't appear that the officers tried to stop, pointing out the lack of skid marks on the street.
This record exists so that Albert Sloan, and all who are named in this archive, are never reduced to a number.
