Suicidal Azerbaijan immigrant Gasanov encountered police in his front yard. He held a BERSA .380-caliber semi-automatic pistol. Family asserted that Gasanov had been cooperatively obeying police instructions when he was fatally shot, and his death was entirely unnecessary.
