Suicide
Christopher M. Bretag reportedly shot and killed his estranged wife and wounded a man before committing suicide while police pursued him on foot. Moments after the shooting, an off-duty Naplate officer, who was in his car with a police dog, saw Bretag's other and followed it to the driveway of an office building. According to police, Bretag ran to a nearby wooded area and shot himself in the head.
