Armed with a screwdriver and boiling with rage, Lattarulo encountered a female officer in a junk-strewn front yard. Neighbors had called complaining of his threats with a screwdriver and scissors, and he'd been arrested some 22 times before for similar incidents. After a lengthy fight and an apparently failed tasering, Lattarulo stopped fighting then stopped breathing.
